This free application offers a Viewer version and a Publisher version.
The Viewer version can view and print native SolidWorks®, AutoCAD®, DWG, and DXF™ files. It can save files to web folders and open files from web folders. It can also save eDrawings files and DWG files in other file formats such as STL, TIFF, JPEG, GIF, PNG or BMP, for rapid prototyping and presentation purposes.
Innovative built-in interpretation tools include 3D Pointer, Point-and-click Animation, and Hyperlinking. This product is intended for users who do not use CAD software so they do not need to publish eDrawings files.
In addition to the above, the Publisher version can publish and send by email eDrawings files directly from multiple CAD platforms, reducing the bandwidth requirements. This product is intended for users who use CAD software and need to share product designs in a more convenient way.
Both versions have a setting option on the tools tab, to customize the appearance - for instance, highlight, background and paper colours -, performance, and stamps path. They feature a complete help menu and links to on-line learning and support.
